What are your career goals?

As a family medicine physician, I intend to further study and practice integrative medicine and lifestyle medicine. Treating patients as a whole person--mind, body, and spirit, is an integral part of how I plan to practice medicine as an attending physician. Additionally, I would like to complete community health initiatives centered around mindfulness and meditation as a form of stress management.

What attracted you to the Duke Family Medicine Residency Program?

The Duke Family Medicine Residency program stood out to me through its community health involvement and the diversity of its residents. From the program's healthcare advocacy work to its local community health projects, the impact that this program has on the residents of Durham truly had a positive influence on my decision.

In your opinion, what makes Duke Family Medicine special?

Duke Family Medicine is special because of the caliber of people that encompass this department. From my first day, I have been welcomed with smiles, open arms, and such kindness.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about lifestyle medicine, integrative medicine, and holistic medicine. Also, I am passionate about serving the underserved and addressing healthcare disparities within the community.

Conyers, GA

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Exercising, meditating, hikes/nature trail walks, watching independent films.
