Joshua Lancaster, MD

Joshua Lancaster, MD, is a family medicine physician at Lincoln Community Health Center, in Durham, NC, where his work includes full-time clinical care at a Federally Qualified Health Center and at the Urban Ministries Healthcare for the Homeless site. He holds a B.S. in biology from Davidson College, an MD from Temple University School of Medicine, and completed family medicine residency at Duke University in 2016.

Lancaster is a clinical instructor with the Duke Physician Assistant Program and the Duke Family Medicine Residency. He serves on the board of Project Access of Durham County, a nonprofit connecting uninsured patients to specialty care. He acts as a facilitator and provider to CenteringParenting®, a group model of well-child care at Lincoln Community Health Center. His professional interests include primary care in underserved populations, clinical education, and community-engaged clinical systems transformation.
