What are your career goals?
To provide excellent patient-centered care to the whole family while meeting the public health needs of the community.
What drew you to the Duke Family Medicine Residency Program?
Duke places an emphasis on community leadership and public health and will provide me with the experience and tools necessary to make a lasting impact in my future patient’s lives.

The culture—everyone here as a passion for learning and truly cares for each other and their patients.
What strengths or skills do you have that could be of benefit to the community?
I have a strong background working with the underserved populations of the Triangle that helps bring a different perspective to my clinical care of patients and their communities.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about nurturing a strong doctor-patient relationship and working as a team to provide the best possible care to each patient.
What are your hobbies?
I love to spend time with my wife and dog, any outdoor activity, and playing soccer.
What did you want to be as a child?
A firefighter. My favorite toys as a child were my firefighter helmet and toy truck.
What has been the best part of living in the Durham/Triangle community?
The people—I have lived in the Triangle all my life and can always count on a helping hand from others.
Name something interesting few people know about you.
I play soccer in a local adult league. I am also a supporter of English Premier League team Manchester City.
