Research Development and Implementation Services

The Family Medicine and Community Health (FMCH) Research Team and Clinical Research Unit offer a variety of services to FMCH faculty members, staff, learners, and affiliates to help facilitate research activities from study development to study closure. This unit can provide consultation and assistance on:

  • Protocol Development/Study Design
  • Statistical Consult
  • Regulatory Assistance (including, but not limited to iRIS, OnCore, Maestro Care Slicer Dicer tool access and training, participant payment and review of new protocols and research data security plans)
  • Applying for funding
  • Study implementation and conduct
  • Publication assistance
  • Mentoring
  • Budget development
  • Slicer Dicer Cohort Assistance
  • Other research activities

An initial consult is free, subsidized by FMCH Research Team and Clinical Research Unit. If a significant time investment is required, the faculty or affiliate may need to provide funding or pay a fee. Depending on the scope of support, affiliation and status with the department, some additional support can be offered free of charge.
