Angela Sally, DO, consulting associate in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, passed away October 14, 2023.
Dr. Sally joined Duke in 2020. She served as the Duke Regional Hospital Associate Medical Director, Nocturnist, Hospitalist.
She was a well-regarded and beloved colleague, leader, and friend with a passion for mentoring students. Prior to helping train family medicine residents at Duke, Dr. Sally served as an assistant professor and Regional Director of Student Medical Education at Campbell University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sally received her bachelor’s degree from Towson University, earned her DO from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency training in family medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
