Bibek Bhandari is an Analyst Programmer I in the Duke Toxicology Program, having joined Duke University in September 2026. In this role, he is responsible for modernizing legacy Visual FoxPro systems to modern .NET applications.

With a professional background in software engineering since 2022, Bhandari's technical philosophy centers on the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology, and human connection. He is deeply interested in practical AI applications, AI ethics, and exploring how technology can enhance and intersect with human creativity.

Bhandari received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana Monroe and a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of the Cumberlands.
