Dr. Jeffrey Eschbach is the Medical Director for the Family Medicine Inpatient Service at Duke Regional Hospital and the Program Director for the Duke Hospital Medicine Fellowship. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. When not working in an academic role, Jeff functions as a Hospitalist caring for adult patients admitted to the hospital. His previous work experiences include Medical Director for a Hospital Medicine group and faculty member at a Family Residency program in Michigan. He was the recipient of a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Navy. His military experience included a tour in Guam and serving as a White House Medical Unit physician. Jeff’s medical passions include teaching of medical students and residents as well providing inpatient medical care to hospitalized adults.
