Some new providers have joined the Family Medicine division since my last blog and I wanted to make note of those.
First is Remy Coeytaux, M.D. already a member of the Department, has graciously agreed to come on board at Pickens and see patients through the end of the year. Most of us in the division know Remy from a headache study that he completed here but now he has a much bigger clinical footprint. We are excited to have him back in the building as a clinician through the end of the year.
Next is Margaret Jazayeri, PA who joined us in July. She and her family have moved back to Durham and are getting resettled. She is part of a growing and thriving group of physicians assistants who now work at Duke Family Medicine – a fact which I am very proud to celebrate.
Lastly is Melinda Blazer, PA, who has worked here previously. She will continue to spend most of her time with the Duke Physician Assistant Program, but has returned to help with Maternal/Children’s Health and support some of the quality improvement work around Woman’s Health.
Duke Family Medicine continue to be a thriving and bustling clinic. I’m excited to announce our newest faces and are looking forward to yet a few more in the very near future. More to come.
