Catherine Isaac, MD, works at Duke Primary Care South Durham. Isaac graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2007, and completed her residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, with a special focus in primary care. Isaac then worked at the Institute for Mind Body Medicine, with Dr. Herbert Benson after completion of residency, where she advanced her training in mind body medicine and stress reduction techniques. Isaac was drawn to primary care because she believes in prevention and the importance of motivating patients to make the healthy changes they need in order to live their best life. She is interested in bringing mind body medicine and resiliency strategies into the primary care setting.
