Raman Nohria, MD, selected as New Faculty Scholar by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine

Raman Nohria, MD, assistant professor of the Duke Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, has been selected as a New Faculty Scholar of 2024 by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM).

Nohria is just one of 14 scholars across the country selected for this program, which recognizes those with outstanding leadership potential and a commitment to academic family medicine. “I feel honored to be selected to the program,” he said.  “I am excited to expand my professional and mentorship network and gain an understanding of how I can merge my strengths and passion to fulfill my potential for a career in family medicine.”

He will be provided with coaching, networking, and training opportunities to further develop his leadership skills. Nohria will also present “Swimming upstream: teaching residents to address unmet social needs through experiential learning” at the 2024 STFM Annual Spring Conference held in Los Angeles in May.
