William “Bill” Martin, MD, was raised in The Woodlands, TX. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. He then went on to pursue a dual MD MBA at Texas Tech University School of Medicine and Texas Tech Rawls School of Business, respectively. After graduating, he was commissioned as Lieutenant in the US Navy and attended a pediatrics internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He then completed two operational tours as a General Medical Officer. First, he served as the battalion surgeon for 2nd Battalion 5th Marines and deployed upon the USS GREENBAY along the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. He later served as an Aviation Medical Examiner and Department Head for Navy Operations Support Center Fort Worth.
